Cardiff nightlife is it strick on id?

Hey does anyone know if a emergency medical card could be taken by the bouncers & let me in the clubs; it does have a picture on it & my dob please let me know if you think it would be taken as i have lost my provisional licence & i dont want to risk taking my pport out please reply soon thankyou x
