Should I shave my stomach hair?

Hey I'm 15 and I'm white, and I have alot of hair on my stomach and chest, my dad and my grandpa haves it to and so on, if I shave it will it grow back faster? And if I do start shavin it will I get more and more? I don't like it that much, should I start shavin it? I can't wax, my dad won't let me, but I want the hair off, and do people my age usually trim their pube hair?
