Where is the best place for my newborn to sleep?

Being that we will be moving cross-country when he is 3 months old, we want to wait on buying a crib until then. Space is limited, the baby will be sharing a room with us until after the move. What will be best for the baby to sleep in for the first 3months? A binet, a pack&play, rock&play sleeper, glider, a vibrating chair? Any mom's with suggestions please help?
