F-1 Visa Student: am I allowed to earn income from Google Adsense?

Hey! I come from Europe and am studying in the US. I recently created a blog just for fun on blogger when I realized I could put on a few ads on my blog with adsense. Now I know I don't have enough views to be admitted to that program but I was wondering that in case I do, do I need to pay taxes? Do I need a social security number? I do have a bank account here but that's about it, I don't want to put my visa status in jeopardy just because of a few ad revenues....
