Is Patras safe at night????

Me and my friend possibly are going to work in Patras. Our employer offered us an accommodation near Norman K/Rodou Streets. The place of our work is on Iroon Polytehneiou Str near Agiou Konstantinou Str. Please tell if this area is safe. We have never been to Patras before and we are worrying a bit whether we will be safe returning to the flat in the evenings. I need a quick answer. If you don' t know the adresses I mentioned I need to know at least what are your general feelings about the town. Thanks
