I need to keep my lip pircings out for about 8 hours. I have had mine for almost two years.?

They are 14 gauge. And they close up pretty quick. Ihave been puting them in every hour or so to try to keep them from closing, Its pretty painfull sometimes. I can not wear retainers. I got busted for them, and so now im down to this. Any suggestions on how to scar them quicker and make the flesh from grwoing back.
