How much do you spend on groceries each month, and how big is your family?

I spend around $400-500 a month on groceries, and there is 3 of us. I live in central IL. I really try to curb my spending, and I really don't buy stuff that isn't a necessity (meat, bread, milk etc) but I do splurge sometimes & buy steaks for dinner. I also use coupons when I can. The things that cost me the most are the fresh fruit I buy, Its very important to me that we always have good fresh fruit to eat & its expensive!
